Questions councils ask
Does council need a roof consultant first?
For a full replacement, many councils hire a roof consultant to write the specification, then ask roofers to bid on it. That way every quote covers the same scope.
What warranty should a roofing quote include?
Ask for the length of the workmanship and the materials warranties in writing, and whether the job qualifies for an RCABC RoofStar Guarantee.
How are residents protected during the work?
Get the schedule, the access plan, the weather and tarping plan, and the crew lead's phone number before the contract is signed.
